Review: For the price, you can get this now for £100 its a steal. I've just taken this to lakes and the photo's I've taken look good on a monitor and fantastic when printed. The best I've seen apart from a far more expensive panasonic SLR camera. Its light easy to use, and has useful features. To call it mediocre is unfair. Its good in most areas, bad in very few, and as such a great allrounder. Samsungs other cameras are a bit more stylish and have a greater wow factor, but I owned the i6 and only got OK results from it, colours far too saturated and images not that well exposed. No such problems with l700.
Also the LCD screen is 230000 pixels. Thats better than almost every digicam apart from samsungs i series or NV3.
The l700 is a camera for people who want to take good photo's and reasonable video, upload them to PC and enjoy the results. You can't play mp3s or watch films unlike the i6, so its a camera for people who want a camera!
Pros: Excellent image quality (good exposure, good colours, good flash, good sharpness, no purple fringing), easy to use, quite stylish, compact, nicely made, excellent screen. Manual ISO selection up to ISO 800 (usable)
Cons: No 28mm wide angle mode, noisy at iso 1600, won't play Mp3s or movies (if that matters?).
